Get Involved
Delivered in partnership with Latimer and Countryside, this project offers young people from Ebbsfleet and the surrounding area an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in architecture, design and the built environment.
Through a combination of practical workshops, work-placement-style activities and work placement opportunities, participants will explore the emerging context of Ebbsfleet, develop their creative and professional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of how places are designed and built.
The programme aims to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence and experience to pursue future opportunities in the built environment sector. Participants will benefit from mentoring, CV development support, professional references and a Certificate of Fellowship recognising their involvement and achievements.
The work produced throughout the programme will be showcased to key stakeholders, providing participants with an opportunity to present their ideas and demonstrate their skills. Where appropriate, young people who express an interest may also be invited to contribute to future proposals and projects in Ebbsfleet.
This is an exciting opportunity for young people interested in architecture, urban design, placemaking and the built environment to build their experience, expand their professional networks and play a part in shaping the future of their local area.
